Bath Comedy Festival

This Bath festival presents the famous names of comedy – before they are famous!

The Bath Comedy Festival is the passion of Nick Steel, festival director since 2010 and fan of all things stand up, who happily shares his comedic discoveries with very some happy audiences.

Much like his inspiration, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, for two weeks in the spring Nick spreads laughter throughout the theatres, pubs and clubs of Bath.

As well as star turns such as Doug Stanhope, Julian Clary, Barry Cryer and Henning Wehn, the Festival also finds and presents some of the best of up and coming performers – you saw them here first!

All aboard for the Wine Arts Trail, a now legendary magical mystery tour around the hidden corners of Bath on an old red London double decker bus. Complete with celebrity comedy clippie, at every stop on the way there’s a hilarious happening or a daft divertissement and, of course, a glass of fine wine.
