With a fascinating history, stunning grounds and children’s activities, Berkeley Castle offers a fantastic day out for all ages.

Dating back to the 11th century, the castle and its grounds are open to visitors on selected days from the end of March until the end of October. Visitors can take a stroll through the tranquil gardens, explore the ancient Keep or even brave a trip to the dungeon where King Edward II was imprisoned.

With a timetable jam-packed with exciting events throughout the year, Berkeley Castle promises seasonal fun for all the family, from jousting and archery to live falconry shows and open-air theatre.
