Located in an art-deco gem within the historic city centre, Komedia regularly features household names such as Joe Lycett, Dylan Moran, Buzzcocks, Simon Amstell and Katherine Ryan.
The home of Komedia is the beautifully restored Grade II listed former Beau Nash cinema, the first cinema to be built in the West of England. The art-deco features are still admired today, and offer a unique setting for what always promises to be a magnificent night out.
The attached Arts Cafe has been recently renovated, and offers a vibrant menu carefully crafted with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.
Did you know?
The building that houses Komedia was originally the Beau Nash cinema. The cinema’s namesake was an 18th century dandy and Bath's Master of Ceremonies. He was clearly a well loved man - so much so that when he died, his mistress was so distraught that she lived the remainder of her days in a hollowed out tree.
