An exciting programme of exhibitions and events brings the Foundation’s extensive archive into the limelight through public artist talks, educational workshops, book signings and seminars. The fabulous shop offers take-home prints and books from the Foundation’s namesake and other notable photographers.
The Foundation is a short walk from Bocabar, a vibrant bar and restaurant that is definitely worth a visit - with regular live music, scrumptious pizza and fantastic monthly specials.
Did you know?
Martin Parr Foundation can be found nestled in the Paintworks. This jumble of repurposed factory buildings, once in such a derelict state that they were called 'vertical rubble', now plays host to Bristol's creative types, including a tv studio which hosted Noel Edmonds' 'Deal or No Deal'.
