St Pauls Carnival

Colour, charisma and carnival vibes in the heart of the city

  • Music
  • Festivals

The first ever event, originally called the St Pauls Festival, took place in 1968. The event has changed many times over the years but has always remained a celebration of the local community.

From a small parade of floats, Carnival evolved over the decades into a vibrant day of colour and music with sound systems aplenty and tens of thousands of people flocking to St Pauls to enjoy a party that goes on into the small hours.
