Dominating Weston-super-Mare’s oldest street, the Playhouse Theatre has entertained theatre-lovers for generations.

A friendly and welcoming venue, the Playhouse runs up to 300 events each year including music, theatre, comedy, dance, children’s shows and pantomime.

Located in the centre of Weston-super-Mare and surrounded by bars, restaurants and cafes, the Playhouse Theatre offers a great opportunity to end your day with a bang. 

Did you know?

Originally built in the old market hall, the theatre tragically burnt down in 1964. Five years later the new building rose from the ashes and has been running continually ever since.
