A unique survival from medieval Britain

Over 700 years old, Winterbourne Medieval barn has been used by local communities for generations. The building was built in the early 1300s, just a few years before the Great Plague decimated local populations, and is a unique survival from this period.

The Barn and surrounding site is currently undergoing building and conservation works as part of a Heritage Fund project due to re-open in Spring 2020.
